Jessie is a girl, that comes to live with her grandmother, and grandfather for the summer. Her grandmother is a blessing in my life, she is 83 years old, We take walks in the park everyday.
I have always seen Jessie with her grandparents, doing the summertime. This summer we made friends. She ask good she walk along with me, I told her yes. She is a fast walker for a 12 year old, to keep up with me, I’m very tall, and I walk very fast.
We have been walking every morning now for two or three days. This beautiful little girl, talk about some amazing things, what she wants to do in life, goals she would like to meet. But what’s FUNNY, I find myself telling her my goals, I wanted to accomplish in my life also. LOL, I am 55 years in Aug. I could not believe the gifts, I saw in this little sweet Jessie, at such a tender age. We talk about Jesus.
We laugh a lot while we walk. I don’t know if I made her feel older, or she made me feel younger. I was not so smart like little sweet Jessie, when I was her age. I must tell the truth, I was not talking about God, career, and traveling all over the world. Boy, I tell you, this little sweet Jessie bless me so much.
When we walk today we hold hands, I said, Jessie you have bless me so much these last couple of days. She looks at me with her head high in the air, I am very TALL 6/1, so she has to look up very far, lol it’s like she is looking at the sky.
She looks up, and says, you have bless me also. I said to her, Jessie I love you, she’s giggles, with such a shiny around face, and said to me, I love you too.
I wanted to cry, sweet little Jessie told me, the work you are doing in Africa, that is so wonderful that you love people in this way.
Jessie said, I am very happy we are friends. God is so awesome, sent a little kid with a great big heart to encourage me. She was so full of life, she put this in my spirit.
